Bosnia and Herzegovina destroy more than 1000 firearms to curb crime

More than a 1000 small arms were collected and destroyed as part of a project to reduce the number of illegal weapons threats in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where in the first half of 2008 the UNDP recorded 105 weapons-related incidents.
