01 July 2009 Commodity Development Strategies in the Integrated Framework
The
poorest countries rely on trade in commodities to generate jobs and incomes.
Under the Integrated Framework programme, Diagnostic Trade Integration Studies
were conducted to advise them how to integrate in world trade. This report
assesses whether the studies do recommend workable strategies to enable these
countries to diversify their economies by adding value in production processes. Annex IV: Countries'
